The estimated cost of Iva's cancer treatment is around $250,000 per year. That number is daunting in any context, but it is very achievable.
This page outlines our plan to acheive that goal by inviting you and as many people as possible to pledge your support for Iva. For example, right now there are almost 14,000 people on the Save Iva Facebook group, and a $25 donation from each person in that group would bring us to our goal. Have we received that many donations? No, but every single donation makes a difference, and you are absolutely critical to Iva's success. A modest donation from each of Iva's Friends; that is our plan. But it won't happen without you. Please keep reading. |
The first step in our plan starts with you. Right now you are the most important person in Iva's cancer treatment costs. If her story speaks to you, follow it and keep in touch, send us an email, it won't cost you anything. |
The second step is to donate towards saving Iva's life. You can be a difference-maker, and with your help Iva can pay for the medical care that she desperately needs. To put your donations in context, each day of cancer treatment costs $1000. Please consider sponsoring a day of treatment and we will be forever grateful. |
The final step is to tell your friends, family and coworkers about Iva's story. We've discovered that only 2% of people are interested in helping out as a result of an email, while more than 50% will respond to a phone call. We know you're busy, and phone calls take time. Most importantly, you can get involved by spreading the word. Tell your brothers, sisters, parents, cousins, friends. Tell everybody (phone calls are more effective than email).

send us an email that you'd like to be considered one of the voluneers, or "Iva's Heroes" that might be able to help financially in the future or in some other ways.
